How are we all .....gorgeous weather here in Gib....think thats why my Mojo has gone as its a bit to hot.... I have only made one card since i got back from my exciting few days ....with my Daughter opening her Salon "Chic Boutique" Hair.. Nails..& Beauty.....
...Things are going great...think the Paper Spread has really helped ...Thanks !!!!! to Cov Telegraph.....

Christmas Card Cub

Morning All
Hope we are well ...the weather here still Fabulous.....We had a Jazz festival in Gib it was on for three days...so popped in the Square this morning...a young band was on from Cambridge ....Brilliant.....

Claires new venture Whoo! Whoo!

Hello All
This is what was in the local Coventry News Paper..... Nice picture of mother and Baby Lol.....

CLAIRE Colledge is hoping to get ahead in business after taking over the family firm which has served Coventry for more than four decades.

The bright businesswoman has invested £15,000 revamping her father’s salon – Roger’s Hair Fashions – into Chic Boutique.

Her dad ran the business in Norman Place Road, Keresley, for 43 years before he died in 1999. Her mum Sylvia took over and when her mum decided to sell up last December, Claire knew what she had to do.

“I didn’t want to see anyone else in the shop,” said Claire. “The salon is part of my childhood and I wanted to keep the business in the family.

“The place looks really modern after undergoing a complete refit and as well as hair, I will be offering beauty treatments and doing nails.

“We’ve had lots of people coming in and saying hello - some of them remembered my dad when he was here, which was really lovely.”
I am so proud of my Daughter....achieving this on her own... with me living in Gibraltar .... lots of moral support from Roy and I......

Christmas card club

Hello All
Hope we are all well...Roy and i arrived back in Gib last night at 6.30pm. walking into the airport soooo hot...after all the awful wet Windy cold weather.....we had a great time with my Daughter and Family though...the opening of her Shop went really well ..we had a lovely opening party.....it was hectic getting everything ready and the last finishing touches to the shop....but it looks fabulous ...she has worked so hard.....Congrats Claire !!!!!!.....

Royals in Gibraltar June 12th 2012

Hello
I have had a fabulous day.....I shook hands with Edward and Sophie...they are so ordinary....i was so Chuffed Wowee !!!! Lucky me ...but i did force him a little bit ...pushed my hand under his nose....Lol.....It was worth the wait in the hot sun...
They watched a Dance show in the Square...then walked down the Main Street...to the Convent where the Governor Lives....Chatting to people as they walked along ......
So her are some pickies that i took ...so not to good...but a few good ones..

St Lukes Hospice Challenge

Hello All
How are we all ...well i hope ....still red hot Here in Gib 30 degs today....we are going to Coventry my home town on Tuesday ....as my Daughter Claire is Opening her Hairdressing Shop....i can`t wait to see it ....she is having an opening party on Friday..... then opening for Business on Monday...my Grandsons Fiance Ria is doing Nails .....and they have a beautician....and then we come home to Gib on Saturday.....
Coming to Gib Tomorrow Monday we have Prince Edward and Sophie...so lots going on tomorrow here...they will be doing a walk about so i hope i will gets some nice pickies to show you .......
I have made another card for St.Lukes Hospice Challenge.......our theme this month is is "Our Little Friends Furry" ...so i hope you like my offering.....

Forever friends Challenge 6

I am so excited as i have been chosen by the lovely Lizzie to be a Designer for
Forever Friends Monthly Challenge i am really chuffed.....so for the Month of June we want a Happy Bear`day Card ....Happy Birthday....nice and easy ...you can use any animal Stamp ...it doesn`t have to be Forever Friends......
I hope you all enjoyed the Queens Jubilee Weekend ...we certainly did here in Gib lots going on ...yesterday we had our own Flotilla....going all round the Rock ...boats of all sizes...i could see them all from our balcony... wonderful sight... also live shows ...and Stalls...in the Square.....
